In the heart of North London, the vibrant and diverse community of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church came together to commemorate International Women's Day in a celebration that honoured God, faith, empowerment, and gratitude.


The event commenced with an atmosphere of reverence and joy as congregants gathered for a special service dedicated to honouring women. Songs of worship filled the sanctuary, prayer os intercession echoed throughout and there was a palpable sense of solidarity and empowerment among the congregation. From different corners of London and other areas, Ugandan women and their allies come together, adorned in colourful attire to commemorate the invaluable contributions of women to society.


In Uganda, the celebration of International Women's Day is not merely a one-day affair but a catalyst for ongoing activism and advocacy. It is a testament to the strength and unwavering determination of Ugandan women to shape a more equitable and inclusive society for generations to come.
